Erkan Gunay

Dr. Erkan Gunay is a European board-certified Emergency Medicine Specialist with 12 years of experience in the field. He received his Medical Degree and his Specialty training in Izmir, Turkey. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and has completed a disaster medicine fellowship program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He used his knowledge and expertise for various quality improvement and disaster readiness projects at NYC Department of Health. Dr. Gunay has also worked at various referral hospitals in Istanbul and Dubai as a specialist and director of the emergency department with clinical expertise for all acute and critical medical situations and a special interest in quality improvement and emergency preparedness.
