Cristina Antunes

I am originally from Portugal where I worked a few years as a Nurse assistant. In 2003, "要伦敦", England, looking for to expand my professional career and explore new and more exciting opportunities. I worked as a Nurse but my passion always been midwifery, which began at a young age through a love of biological sciences. I became fascinated about how the theory related to reality. Pregnancy and birth are such pivotal points for societal public health and I became excited at the prospect of playing an essential part in supporting families through this life-changing time. After becoming mother of 2 children, this came to validate my passion and in 2010 I took the leap of faith and enrolled for midwifery specialization. Since then, I am delighted that I am able to offer truly individualized, attive midwifery care, meeting each women’s personalized needs and support them with true choice. I am a dual trained adult nursing and midwifery practitioner and was fortunate to have had an excellent education with a particular interest on physiological birth and waterbirth. I believe my role as a midwife is to empower women to believe in their bodies and intuition, and to support women in the choices they make for themselves, “巴贝和菲律宾”. 我不会伤害你的, Dubai, in February 2021 working for American Hospital Dubai since, and I am delighted to be working with a great team of Doctors, Midwives and Nurses where we truly can offer tailored and expert care to all women and families who choose to come to AHD.
